The Global Finals Welcome Ceremony is highlighted by the international Parade of Nations where each Affiliate marches into the arena similar to the Olympics!  The Destination Imagination (DI) family comes together to welcome teams from all over the world in a celebration like no other!

Would your team like to represent Wisconsin in the Welcome Ceremony parade at Global Finals 2023?!  One Wisconsin team will be chosen via a lottery to represent our great Affiliate in the parade.

To be included in the lottery for the parade, please send an email to Mary Bykowski, Wisconsin DI Affiliate Director by Wednesday, April 19, 2023: mary.bykowski@wisconsindi.org.

Include your team number along with the number of team members and managers (up to 7 team members and 2 team managers). If you are selected, you will be notified prior to your departure for Kansas City.  Special wristbands will be included in your registration packet.

The Welcome Ceremony takes place on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 7:30 - 9PM in the Municipal Arena (right next to the Kansas City Convention Center).
